 Tarang 2025: A Festivity of Colors, Cultural Events, and Celebrations.

Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR) hosted its annual Cultural fest Tarang 2025 from 20 march to 22 march and it was a magical experience. Being themed “Dhaagon Ki Pehchaan: Every Thread a Story, Every Knot a Home”, the festival brought students together from all across India to applaud the festival of arts, music and an amalgam of creativity.

A Foodie’s Paradise.

What’s a festival without amazing food? Height of Tarang 2025 had a variety of food stalls that catered to every craving. There was delicious Indian street food — golgappas, chaats, and more — plus international fare in the form of Mexican tacos and Italian pasta. One of the highlights was the stall by the North-East Cell, where people enjoyed authentic dishes from the Northeast Indian state.

Music, Dance, and Electrifying Performances.

Main stage created buzz with enthusiasm and energy during the Tarang event.

The Dance Society arranged for classical dance MUDRA and western dance BAILA. All performances were filled with enthusiasm and energy from Bharatnatyam to Hip-Hop.

The Indian Music Society conducted ANAAHAD, which featured events like AMALGAM (Indian Fusion Band) and SANGAM (Indian Classical Choir). The campus played beautiful music with strong voices.

Star Acts: The festival featured a live concert by a well-known performer (more on who soon!). Students sang and danced along, creating an unrivaled energy.

Drama, Art, and Creativity Awash

Theatrical Bonanza This was a treat for theatre lovers — Yavnika, the stage play competition conducted by the Dramatics Society. Every show had depth, and substance, and left the audience thinking for hours after the curtain fell.

The Film and Photography Society's event Projekt featured breathtaking photography and short films for the artists in attendance. Each frame encapsulated emotions, moments, and unshared stories.

Games, Competitions and Non-Stop Fun

Apart from the performances, Tarang 2025 was filled with fun activities and challenges.

Poetry slams and debate for people who love words.

Trivia quizzes for the trivia nerds.

Art shows with stunning creativity.

Fun games and dance competitions that entertained the crowd.

A Festival for EveryoneSafety First

With more than 15,000 guests expected, safety was a high priority. Through its security measures, which included entry control as well as campus monitoring, LSR ensured everyone had a smooth yet enjoyable experience on the ground.

The Memories We Take Home

Through arts, entertainment and fun-filled activities, we reminded ourselves with the essence of Tarang 2025 above all — celebration. Tarang left all with beautiful memories, whether you stayed for the music, food, or inexperienced dance moves, (or) simply to have a nice time with friends.
